Rules§1 – General
§1.1 It is not allowed to bring electrical household appliances. Including but not limited to: Toasters, sandwich machines, coffee machines, microwave ovens or likely. §1.2 It is not allowed to bring speakers, amplifiers and such equipment likely. Only headsets! §2 - Eating and Health
§2.1 DSRack LAN will have stalls available with food, beverages and sweets. Which means that you cannot not bring your own food and beverages. §2.2 It is not allowed to eat or drink inside the sleeping hall. §2.3 Sale of alcohol is permitted only for persons over the age of 18 years, there are no exceptions. It is prohibited to give alcohol to anyone below the age of 18 years. Drink responsible! §2.4 It is okay to enjoy alcohol, but you should of course take responsibility for yourself. However, if you are very drunk and seem to be threatning or annoying for the other players, you will be denied access to the hall. §2.5 Smoking is not allowed indoors, and therefore you must smoke outside. §3 - Safety rules and fire regulations§3.1 Violence against other players or crew members, including threats, threatening behavior and likely, will result in suspension from the event and, depending on the character of the situation, result in permanent suspension from future events. This will also be reported to the police. This is of course before, during and after the event. §3.2 All thefts will be reported to the police, and all thieves will be reported to the police. §3.3 It is not allowed to use lighters and other kinds of fire indoors. §3.4 Emergency exits in case of combustion, should always be easy to get through. Therefore there must be no bags, sleepingbags, tables etc. Infront of the exit. §3.5 You must always be able to show some kind of legitimation, to confirm your identity. §3.6 You are not allowed to bring any kind of weapons, we refer to the Danish legislation. §4 – Network Security§4.1 You're not allowed to participate in illegal activities at the event, such as file sharing, hacking, cracking, DDOS attacks, etc. Any abuse of our system can and will be monitored and will result in an immediate suspension from the event. §4.2 You may not use person-to-person programs (utorrent, bittorrent, etc..), Or direct download - unless it is legal software, maps or similar. §4.3 It is your responsibility as a participant, to pay attention to what you have on your computer. Since it is a public place, DSRack LAN crew will not stand in the way of Police, APG, BSA, etc.. (Those groups are 'anti piracy' groups) §4.4 You may not share, sell or display pirated material in the form of CDs, DVDs, etc.. §4.5 If there is any doubt, you may sell the original copy of a purchased material but not illegally copied (burned) CDs, DVDs, etc.. §4.6 You must have updated operating system (security update) and Anti-Virus, since the risk that other players at the event has a virus or more, can occur. §4.7 If you suddenly figure out that your computer is infected by virus, please immediately contact the crew, so we can do something about it and get it out of our system as soon as possible. §5 – Responsibility§5.1 The Prizes are not tax exempt, and it is the participants' own responsibility to report the winnings to the IRS(Internal Revenue Service). §5.2 Cheating will result in immediately suspension and suspension for future events. §5.3 Any damage to your personal belongings or yourself is not our responsibility, it is up to you to have adequate insurance cover in case of damage. §5.4 If you seem to not obey any of these rules, and for that reason suspended from the event, will there not be the possibility of refunds, or covered for any costs for the event. §5.5 If theft occurs, DSRack cannot be held liable for it. Of course we do our part as arrangers to prevent theft in the form of video surveillance, guards and control at the entrance. §5.6 DSRack LAN is held in Denmark and is therefore under the Danish law, we therefore expect that all participants adhere to it. If someone does not comply with it, it will be reported to the police immediately.
